Hello there!

Any Pinterest-ers here? Please share your handle.

I enjoy Pinteresting a variety of things, but I try to only pin things that reflect my unique sense of taste/style. If you like mine, please feel free to follow, but message me that you're a fellow BK.

  • I LOVE Pinterest!

Mine is mostly food and things I find funny.

I resisted for a long time, but I love Pinterest now!

Most of mine is quilting-related and inspiration for quilts...but I also have Zentangles and recipes.

  • I resisted a long time too (I kind of prefer Tumblr to Pinterest) but I fell prey to it and get frustrated I can't figure out if there's a way to "retire" or "archive" boards.

  • @gabyripples, nevermind what I wrote about my so-called unique sense of style! wow! It's all you! I just followed your wardrobe board.
  • Haha thanks! I've always felt like if I could make the right connections, I might make a good stylist! I'd love to go study fashion in school someday. Instead, at the moment I've become an attorney. Womp womp. I'm hoping I can leverage my style and legal savvy into a job with a fashion company someday, just need to meet the right people.
  • Pinterest.com/carolyn4632 I'm anxious to see other Bitter Kitten boards!

It's mainly knitting-related stuff and cooking recipes. There's also some nerdy stuff and fashion stuff sprinkled in for good measure.

I use it mainly for character inspirations and crafty projects and damn ... does it need to be organized better!

Ahh Pinterest.  One of my favorite ways to waste copious amounts of time on my laptop.  Here's my link:

I have mostly home decor and craft stuff.  Pretty boring, but we're working on a new kitchen, a new bathroom and a new garage.  And I quilt for a living now, so I keep LOTS of ideas..... And some fashion.  But look at "Just For Fun"  My favorite board.  :)
So--I've followed all of you, now.  Yay!

  • @gabyripples
Yes--there is a way to delete boards on Pinterest.  If you click on the board, there's a button on the right that says "Edit Board", which opens another window.  Way down at the bottom left hand side is a button that says, "Delete Board".   Easy as pie....

  • @AntonijabutcallmeBee I know I can delete them, but I just want to archive them so they're not in my main dropdown menus for pinning but still accessible. I suppose it's dumb but I like compartmentalizing things by year and season, and Pinterest is kind of a bitch for that. I might just consolidate down to Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter, but that feels messy. I think I have fashion-related OCD, haha.
  • I collect fashion I like under Annalisanews.
  • I tried to resist Pintrest forever and then when I was planning my wedding my coworker talked me into it.

I pin a lot of food, a lot of home and travel stuff and nerdy stuff.

I love pinterest - most of mine is food, of course, but there's thoughts about my next tattoo, ideas for my dream home if I ever win the lottery etc.

    I'm https://www.pinterest.com/ladysonnet/

It's some crafting and costumes and fannish things, but it's mostly fashion history things.  It skews heavily to Victorian and Edwardian, but I've got a fair mix of everything in there.
  • I haven't been on Pinterest all that long, and I spend time there only in erratic bursts, but this is the result: Ming Xiong. No recipes as of yet, nor home decor or crafts, but pictures of places I'd like to see/have already seen, as well as pretty pictures of clothes & objects.
  • Wow Sophie! I love your style! So many beautiful clothes!
  • Thank you @Demeter! I only wish I could dress like that in real life, but my figure/lack of money/lack of opportunity mean that my style in real life is very boring. Do you have Pinterest?

It's mostly yoga stuff but I have some food and other stuff as well.
  • Me!  Some crafting, some home decor, depending on the current project's we've got going on or planning, but mostly food.  A lot of food.  Especially cake decorating stuff.

  • I'm not as active as I used to be but its hard to stay away for too long.

  • @AntonijabutcallmeBee - went to your page to check out (steal) some of your bathroom redo ideas, since we're also hoping to redo our disaster of a bath in the next couple years.  Found out you've pinned about half the same pins as I already had.

    Great minds, I guess!

  • Here's mine: https://www.pinterest.com/mujisan123/

Tons of food and drink, some fashion, home and travel stuff too. Pinterest is basically a recipe book for me now. I pin any recipes from blogs that I want to try on my boards.

I am a pinterest-aholic. My savory and sweet boards are getting excessive- I added a "tried-savory food" board to try and organize the madness.

so many beautiful bitter kittens on pinterest! I am so excited!

Oh, Pinterest, Pinterest.  I discovered you a couple years ago and never looked back.  It's a way for me to keep my actual outfits in order (Daily Outfits) as well as future outfits (Walk, Walk, Fashion Baby).  I have boards for sewing, quilting, books, geekery in several forms, and one just for Joan's outfits on Mad Men.  Feel free to peruse and steal what you want!

I try to stay away from pinterest as much as possible or I will be sucked into the vortex. ;)

God, I'm Pinterest-obsessed. Everything from English cottages on my Barbie Dream House board to adorable dog pics.

YAY - Pinterest people! I use it all the time.

I wish there was a "Never Show This Stupid Thing To Me Again" button, though. The next time I see someone making a healthy "sandwich" where the bread is a whole, unpeeled cucumber, I'm going to throw something at someone.

I pin all sorts of stuff - things I find beautiful, adorable, funny. Lots of recipe and design ideas, as well as things I find inspirational or motivating, especially fitness-related.

That'd be brilliant! Watermelon with whipped cream on it is not a cake! Fruit is nice, but it isn't cake!

I love pinterest - so much easier than the binders full of magazine clippings I had for so long!
